I am learning.

I am learning that God is the only one who will never disappoint me.

I am learning that faith doesn't always look like what people expect and that is okay.

I am learning that I don't need anyone's time schedule except for God's.

I am learning that it is okay to grieve some things.

I am learning to be confident in these things.

I am learning a lot. Some of it is painful, it is not comfortable. It is God asking me to step away from other's approval and ideas and step into His. And this is good and it is right where I want to be. It is getting to a deep relationship with my Heavenly Father. My relationship and walk with Him is not going to make much sense in this world because I am living for eternity. I am living for my true home.

Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

Please note there was no confusion this time about the size of a pinch of salt, for those of you who were wondering ;)

i had a dream...

last night I had a dream that was...interesting. it involved touring with choir 35 again (which was wonderful) and a hot air balloon of sorts. i hope i can accurately describe our means of transportation to a benefit show. here goes...the top was the lounge of a ferry (very much like the one we spent lots of time on in alaska), the middle was about a 300 foot long solid tube of balloons (like party balloons, the ones that can pop way too easily), and the bottom was a camper. now i don't know how it worked, but in my dream it was quite wonderful.

we flew, there were some adventurous moments, and in the end we made it to the show.
